1 down 8 to go...
Jonah is the first in the next generation of Hansen's/Ellison's to compete in the Pinewood Derby. It was great fun. I think he loved wearing goggles while he and Jared worked on the car the very most.
Jared claims Jonah wanted to do a BYU car...I'm not buying it. It did turn out really nice though.
Honah had a great night. He came in 1st on 3 or his 8 heats. So now between the 3 boys Jared only has 8 more cars to do!
Love the car Jonah!! I'm now a Wolf leader in my ward & our cubs are working on their cars right now - thankfully they didn't ask me to make one (I have very limited experience to speak of). Looks like his car raced well too...which is never a bad thing.
We had a pinewood derby in my singles ward last year, so I have a new appreciation for the work that goes into those little cars. I came in 2nd place....in the very bottom loser bracket. :( You should've seen my car. In fact, I'll send you a picture of it. Didn't really know about the whole weight thing, so I took some electrical tape and secured my big swiss army knife on top of it. Apparently it didn't really do the trick. Great job, Honah!! ;)

The car looks great! I guess Jeremy will have a lot to do also. Crazy picture of him when he was 3 too!

Who's Honah?
