It really sucks...

Have I mentioned how much I love my Central Vac? I love it so much, in fact, I'm trying to decide how long I can get away with doing all the vacuuming--you see my big plug for it was that it would be "so easy even our children could do it."


And that it is. The greatest part about it is that even though the house was plumbed for it, we were still looking at about $1300 for the canister, hose and all the attachments. Depressing. But thanks to my handy husband who can always sniff out a good deal...we got a 6 month old one from Craigs List for $300!! WOW! (This morning he found a brand new trampoline enclosure--which we need--for $30 at a garage sale, but didn't have cash and when I got there they had already sold it. Grrrr.)

Back to my vac...



the fun thing about it is the handy sucker (for lack of a better term) in the kitchen. You just sweep everything over by it and then kick the switch plate and it sucks it all in. No more dust pans around here!


We made it through the week before the last week of summer. The kids have been great. No complaining about being dragged everywhere.


Last night we had a party to watch the finale of So You Think You Can Dance. It was fantastic. We were all cheering on Sabra and were so happy to see her win.


Tonight--with all of you I'm sure--is our big High School Musical 2 party!! That is if we can find some friends to party with. Rachel has invited one friend. It may be a more intimate event this time...
