to pass the time before High School Musical 2 starts. Rachel invited her new friend over. This girl lives a couple of streets away, and is in our congregation at church. Coincidentally, she was born in Houston, but taken to Idaho days later with her adoptive parents. Rachel is the first person she's ever met from Houston!
Jonah did not invite anyone. But then, what self-respecting 3rd grade boy invites new acquaintances to a HSM2 party? Especially one where his dad starts dancing every time he enters the room to try to be funny?
We had a great time. Pizza, carmel pop corn...
To describe the film...a little bit of Grease 2...a little Girls Just Want to Have Fun...and even 1 scene from Footloose. We all loved it.
Much to Jared's disappointment, when it was over Luke said, "Jonah, do you want to play High School Musical 2? I'm Zach Efron--the one with Gabriella..."
Jared's reply: "We've got to sign these boys up for some sports."
