over who's turn it is to vacuum! After we came to an agreement over who "GOT" to vacuum the kitchen floor and who did the carpet...I overheard Jonah saying, "I love that sound". The sound is that of crumbs and such being sucked up the tube. Rachel agreed that she loved it too. They are my children. This is proof.
The kids were out of school yesterday and today. Today I promised a field trip of sorts. One of Jonah's cub scout requirements is to go to a museum with your family, so I think that's what we'll do. We also need to do some more Halloween decorating.
Seth has joined Luke in his frequency in our bed at night. I was up for about 2 hours taking boys back into their room and getting them settled. Inevitably they'd come right back in. I finally told Luke he is no longer allowed in our bed at night. Afternoon "snuggles" are okay, but no nighttime visits. He was sad, but agreed and didn't come back. We need to find a sectional for the family room so we can move a couch into our room for visitors. Jared will be happy that I'm now on board with that. I need more sleep.
I was watching the news last night as I was doing some more unpacking/re-packing. The sports was on and I had to laugh as they announced the "dress code" for the Boise State game this weekend. He told which sections were orange and which sections were blue. I should have saved all my Brighton Bengal gear...oh well.
It is crazy at what fanatics these people are. When I did my art time in Luke's class I asked the kids what their favorite colors were. Over half the kids said either "blue and orange" or "Bronco's colors". Totally brainwashed. But then so are our children. If you ask Seth what BYU spells he says, "COUGARS!"
