We had to bid farewell to Jared's parents a couple of weeks ago. They left for Geneva, Switzerland for a 2 year humanitarian assignment for our church. They will be working at the UN with the ambassadors from different countries to find ways our church can assist in humanitarian needs.I felt that we needed to give them a big send off, and so I made a lovely sign and festive rice krispie treats.
We miss them terribly, but are excited to hear about all their adventures.

I'm bummed that I had to miss a party with such festive rice krispies. I know all you did meant a lot to Mom and Dad. Mom told me all the details, and now I get to see pictures too...almost feels like I was there. ( :
