I have spent the last 2 days bottling peaches. When my friend Kelli told me about this great deal on peaches and offered to let me be her apprentice...well, I couldn't pass that up!
The problem is it was a lot of work and now I don't want anyone to eat them. I think I'll at least hold them off until winter when we can enjoy the spoils as a special treat.
It really was not as hard as I thought it would be...just very time consuming and messy. The best part was spending time with friends and learning something new!

That's impressive! You are the woman!
They're gorgeous, can't blame you for not wanting to open the bottles. I know they'll taste even better when the snow is flying. Kudos to you for taking the time in your busy schedule to be provident!
they are pretty, all lined up. Good work texbecks.
Way to go! LOL! I know we are supposed to eat our food storage but sometimes I feel the same way, Don't eat it as it looks good on my shelf! just kidding. I'm impressed, they look yummy!
You can't open them, they are too pretty !
They look great!! Don't blame you for not wanting to open them yet. You've got to look at them on the shelf for awhile to soak up all that hard work.
We had to open one of ours the next day, the boys just couldn't wait! I can't believe I was canning peaches with the Relief Society Pres! Those are some special peaches now I tell ya!
