He had a pretty good one--which is good so it is documented and they cannot tell me I am crazy. The second part of the test he just sleeps, and then to finish up they put a strobe light right in front of his eyes--with his eyes shut--and flash lights. He slept through it...I felt like dancin'!
We have an appointment with his new doctor in a couple of weeks, so we'll see what the test showed and where we're at.
It was a much different experience than Texas Children's. We were in and out in an hour. PLUS...I figure we'll be saving about $200 a year on parking--in Boise it's free!--however, we will be spending at least twice that to haul Rachel down to SLC for her appointments.
Just a note from my soapbox: Today I was informed that while my kids are in Elementary School it isn't a big problem to have them gone for appointments like the one that Luke had this morning. HOWEVER, and I quote, "when they get into Jr. High and High School it is a BIG problem." I guess we really should have looked into that before we got some kids with Diabetes and Epilepsy. Oops! Next time I'll be more careful as to not upset the dignitaries in our school district.

Looks like that hospital had Luke's name written all over it! Free parking, cartoons & short visits...hopefully you'll like Luke's new Dr.! I'm so proud of him...looks like quite a test. Give him a big kiss for me. ( :
Glad his prayer was answered, that's sweet. I'm sure you gave that person at the school a crusty eyeball look. UHgg.
I hate those EEG things!!! The only time I had to endure one with my kids was when they were figuring out waht was wrong with Allie.
As for the missing school, you just tell them to "kiss your grits" If you don't get the reference, I am REALLY old.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is brave enough to take pictures inside the testing room.
Way to go Luke! what a trooper, and way to go Becky! you've always been a trooper and an inspiration to me (and a mentor) as you push through these challenges.
As if having them alive and able to go to school isn't enough! Love Lukie's smile in that picture. Sure beats 11.00 a day for parking!!!
I know the reference Carrie or should I say Flo, right?
You are a trooper, Becky. Glad the tests went well.
