I am quite popular...in my house that is. Currently (it does change at times) I am the chosen parent for ALL the needy people around here. Particularly Seth. He refuses to let Jared do anything for him. He wants me...and I foolishly comply because I cannot stand the whining--which I do realize will only turn into big person whining if I don't nip it in the bud right now.
I've told you of our night time visits from Luke--EVERY night for the past 3 years. Well now I have 2 visitors. Seth has followed suit. Only Seth starts shouting out demands like, "put the red blanket on me. I want the blue blanket a square!!" (I am fully prepared for his wife to be angry with me...) Luke, on the other hand just wants to snuggle. I can handle that.
So last night I found myself sleeping on the floor next to Seth to get him out of my be. It was not comfy--and it only lasted a couple of hours and he was right back in bed with Jared and me and Luke. We could have been filmed for a Cingular commercial. We looked like the bars on my phone.
So off I go to serve my little people...waiting and hoping to relinquish my post at anytime. Hopefully sooner than later. To you and yours--have a great day!

Very cute. Does Seth bring with him a treasure chest of favorite toys (like Luke's Star Wars figures?)
Actually, and I'm sure you would agree, while it's irritating at times, I am trying to enjoy those moments when they come down as I know they will not last long. Still, I remind my kids that when they wake me up at night, I'm not a very nice mommy in the morning when I'm tired. :o)
Every night??? I would enjoy them too (Karie's comment) if they didn't happen every single night. Or maybe I'd enjoy them more if I had a king size bed. But I don't (have a king) so I don't enjoy the 'slumber parties' in Mommy's bed. haha Hayden just wakes up screaming with night terrors! It's so fun.
You could do what I do and make sure that when you hear them by your bed you say, "Go to Daddy's side." It works every time until they catapult into the middle! I hear your pain........
