This is the only photo I got from the Thanksgiving festivities. We had a nice dinner with our neighbors the Beckham's and then out to the cul de sac for a little football and basketball. The picture is of Rachel and Jeff--he is her age. Rachel put Jeff to shame by catching a pass that he missed! Not good on a 10 year old boys ego! He was a good sport!
Jared was off at 4:30 a.m. to start shopping. He got some great stuff. We are pretty well done...a few loose ends to tie. The kids and I got out the decorations and got the house decorated while he was gone. They were so excited. It was great. Seth is going to drive me crazy, but I don't think there is anything within his reach that he could break. We'll see.
Jared's Mission President called the other day. He has a daughter that lives in town and is here visiting. He took us out to dinner tonight. It was fun to talk with him. He and Jared enjoyed catching up on what all the ohter missionaries are doing. He is a great man. I was happy that the kids could meet him.
The tree is up. Jared and the kids went and got one this afternoon. Yes, we still get a real tree. Gotta love those needles! Seth put the ceremonial star on this year...kind of...he tried and then Jared finished it up. Outside lights tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving Ya'll!
