I don't think that we have an unusually large family. So why is it that on occasion I feel like people are gawking at me?
I went to Kroger last Thursday--they have their 10 for $10 going on right now. A sale we don't like to miss. So I went and stocked up on a goldfish, bread, milk, some mango's and a couple other things (10 of each). When I got to the check-out you'd have thought I grew a second head! I've decided that teen-age checkers need to take a politeness seminar.
Anyway, 10 loaves of bread, 10 bags of goldfish and 10 half gallons of milk are apparently a shocking sight.
On Monday I had to pick up our prescriptions for the month. We are a pharmacists dream--or nightmare. I had several to pick up--not even to whole amount we usually get. The guy got them all for me and laid them on the counter and this girl walks by and says, "Whoa! What's all this?" He explained it was mine...but every time she walked by she'd giggle. Is she not used to seeing sick people? She works in a pharmacy for heaven's sake!
Well, today was the last day for the 10 for $10, so I went back and got some more goldfish and milk...just to keep us stocked for a while. And we went through the whole thing again!

I sure miss those 10 for 10 days. That's the only time Zibbey would let me buy chocolate milk.
