I think my love of mail developed when I was doing my 6 month program at BYU in London. The mail came twice a day and I got lots of it. People used to get cranky that I got so much, but I wrote a lot of people. So I would say to them, "If you write it...it will come."
Today was a successful mail day. Only because we've been gone for 2 weeks. We got more Christmas cards (44 to be exact) than Credit Card Offers--which means "Good Mail"--what we used to say in London if you got more than one letter. They came from family, friends in Califoria, Chicago, BYU friends, Disney friends, High School friends, Mission friends, Study Abroad Friends...and others we've made along the way.
Thank you all who sent cards. We love reading what your families are doing. I am amazed at how many creative friends we have. Please be flattered when we copy you in years to come. ;) Our cards will be sent out shortly I hope. I need to get unpacked first though.
I'm still waiting for a picture of the Pearson Family--you're being put on notice. And to Sarah Jones--I put you smack dab in the middle for good measure. Keep sending 'em!!
