Sunday after church we headed off for San Antonio. It was a nice quiet drive. We arrived at dinner time, made some sandwiches, walked the river walk and took some pictures at the Alamo. It was nice to get away from the mess we call home.
After we got ourselves settled in our motel we headed over to visit with Aurora, Emanuel and kids. Aurora was a co-worker of Jared's at Disney--and a good friend still. We love their family and hope it won't be too long until we get to see them again. The kids always have a great time together. (Our kids especially love the elevator they have in their house!!)
We slept in a bit on Monday morning and then headed over to Schlitterbahn. We had a GREAT time. This was our first time there.
I'd love to go back sometime and stay at the resort for a few days so we can actually do everything there is to do.
The lines were not too bad--and we discovered that Seth is a bit of a dare devil. He was not intimidated by anything. He went on just about every ride that the rest of us did--and screamed when we weren't going to do it again. He would just laugh when they'd go down big drops. It was great.
On the lazy river he didn't want us to hold onto his tube. He'd push us away and say, "I'll be right back!" It was a successful--but exhausting--trip. We let the kids miss swim practice this morning. We were all way too tired for it.
So now onto finishing up more projects and getting friend time in! Time is ticking way too fast for me.

It's nice you could take a break and see more Texas! There are so many fun places there. I'm dreading the whole packing / moving thing. Good luck!
San Antonio is a nice town, glad you had fun.
