How often is it that you need a new top for a toilet tank--which you can't just buy by itself, you have to buy a whole new tank--and as you are driving down the road spot 3 toilets by the curb waiting to be picked up by the garbage truck?!
Yes, it was embarrassing to go to a perfect strangers door and ask if I could have the top to their commode. About 6 years ago Jonah--being Jonah--decided to check out the toilet and dropped the top breaking it. Now it has been replaced for the Clark's. Whew.
Another little blessing is that Seth has been using the potty!! He went 4 times yesterday. The only problem is that he refuses to wear the training pants we have so he's free as a bird. I don't do pull-ups. They are too expensive. We'll probably get some for the trip, but for now we'll just try to keep him as modest as possible. I think I will take him to Target to let him pick out some big boy pants...maybe that will help.
We had Sophie over last night. What a treat. Luke asked me, "When Sophie's here does she always sleep with Rachel, or can she sleep with me and Jonah?" She is loved around here.
The truck comes 1 week from today. It's going to be a sad day. I am looking forward to being done with all the packing and such. I put the kids to work today wiping down the baseboards and window sills upstairs. The upstairs is almost all packed.
That's all for now...

I am glad you have a blog because I had no idea Sophie was at your house! We are going to miss you!
No, the real embarrassing fact is that the folks that had the three commodes in their front yard......live just down the street from us....
We will miss your family greatly. I am not just saying this. In the nineteen years of my marriage to Carrie, no family move will affect our family's emotional stabitlity then your move to Idaho....We will send Sophie your way often and we would hope the same favor is exchanged each time Jared is able to bring Rachel our way.
Love, the Pearsons
I can't believe it's a week away! You are so going to miss the HOT Texas summer...not even. Happy packing.
