There's nothing like a good...

power washing. I love it. Someday I'm going to get me a nice power washer for Mother's Day. Any job where you can see some serious improvement is a job for me. I did the front porch, storage area on the side of the house and the driveway. I'm pooped. Thanks to Ken Hubnik for letting me borrow his big daddy machine!! Jared's working on his projects with it now!!

Another swim meet today. All the kids did great and improved some of their times. It is amazing to me to watch Luke make it all the way down the pool without having to grab the rope. He has come a long way. He is the most determined kid. He works so hard. The fact that last summer we were barely able to let him swim because of the epilepsy--makes it that much more exciting to see him do so well. Luke's relay team too first today. Way to go Luke!

After the little kids swim the timers give them a "heat ribbon" that they write the kids time on. I think Luke thinks it means he won. He runs to me after each race and says,"I got a blue ribbon!" I'm not going to tell him otherwise.

Jonah did great today. He almost got his backstroke time from last years invitationals...he'll get it soon I'm sure. He did butterfly today and not only did he not get DQ'd (it's hard for the little kids to keep their legs together and they often get DQ'd) he cut 15 seconds off his time! He was awesome.

Rachel did great too. Breast stroke is her best stroke...today she qualified for invitationals in it. We're not going to be here for it, but she was excited none-the-less.

My break is over...off to finish up projects.
Gotta love Saturday's!
