Everyone around here has Valentine's fever! It is great. I wish it would last all year long. Seth keeps telling me I'm his "favorite Mommy". I asked him who his second favorite mommy was...he said "Rachel". Then we asked who his third favorite Mommy was and he said, "Miss Jen." What an honor for all!
The kids all did their Valentines last night. It was nice to have Rachel to help Luke with his. We've decided that she is pretty handy to have around! The other day it was BEAUTIFUL outside when the kids came home from school, so Rachel took all the boys to the little park that is across the street from us. I wept tears of joy as I realized we have FINALLY entered the stage of life where we may have some freedom!! I watched them from the office with my binoculars just to make sure everyone was behaving. They seem to be better behaved for her than me...what does that tell ya? The best part is she loves it--well for now!
Luke started his Kepra yesterday. It seems to be a miracle drug because this morning he said, "My Kepra helped me to not go over to Rachel at recess yesterday!" We have been having a problem with him going over to tag along with his sister at recess...EVERYDAY...SEVERAL TIMES! I think he likes all the attention from her friends because they always tell him how cute he is. It drives Rachel crazy. She'd like a little space. We'll see if the Kepra does the trick!
Happy Valentines Day to all! I am happy to say I am not helping with one party today--I made my contributions with plates, napkins and whipcream!

The first time I ran out to get milk without kids (and left Jordan in charge at home) I shed a few tears out of pure joy and relief. Now when my two big girls are away, I'm like "What??? Now I have to drag two kids with me?"
Sounds like a Happy Valentine's Day for you all around...no party involvement, Kepra & a daughter old enough to help with the boys. A little slice of heaven. ( : Love to you all.
Wait til the day you don't need the binoculars! then you're really living!
Keeping my fingers crossed on the Kepra too!
Happy VD day
OH SETH ! ! ! You have made my day, I am number 3. I will be his fill in mom anytime, Seth is just to cute and so well behaved. Just don't mention that I call little boys "Sweeties" it may push down the rankings.
