You'll be happy to know I remembered the assembly this morning! Whew! They had a little "graduation" for the 5th graders and then Rachel was also a recipient of the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence. She got a nice certificate and letter from President Bush and a pin. I guess they give this award in 5th, 8th and 11th grades. She's a hard worker and we are proud of her.
As they were reading the names for the graduation certificates there was a boy with the last name of 'Archuleta'--Seth said (quite loudly) "Is that DAVID ARCHULETA?" We got some grins. Rachel's friend Shydon's mom was sitting in front of us and she said "We were all thinking it!"
Jonah is still reading up a storm...I went to the Scholastic Books Warehouse Sale on Saturday to stock up for the summer. I got him some good stuff I think he'll like. Keeping him busy is the key to harmony in our home!
Seth is the Wii Fit Master! Here he is doing some strength training! He's quite amazing at the step aerobics as well.
1/2 day of school left! Hallelujah! We are looking forward to a great summer with trips to Utah, out to the ranch with the Ellison's, camping, fishing, bike rides and LOTS of swimming!

Love the frequent posts. Congrats to Rachel on her award - she's beat my academic achievements already I'm sure. ( : Can't wait to see everyone in August.
