relatively low maintenance. I'm content with simple things. One thing that always bugs me is when people get nit picky about movies. Especially the critics when they pick apart a kids movie from their "artistic" perspective. I figure if my kids are entertained then my money was well spent.
Until yesterday. The kids and I needed to get out and Speed Racer is at the dollar movie. So 3 boys and car racing--sounds like a good time to me. If you haven't seen it and are considering going to the dollar...SAVE YOUR DOLLAR!!! For the first time in my life I was terribly disappointed. The whole time I considered bribing my kids with ice cream or something if we could just leave. We stuck it out.
It was LOOOOOONG. I would consider buying a DVD if it was a condensed version with the 30 minutes of car racing--which was entertaining for the boys--and the 30 seconds of Matthew Fox with his shirt off. (They really should consider incorporating that into LOST more often.)
Anywho...I was glad when it was all over.
