Our sweet Jonah turns NINE today! I can hardly believe it! What a great boy Jonah is.I remember so well the day Jonah was born. I went in for my weekly appointment. They had done an ultrasound the week before because I was getting so big.
At my appointment the doctor said, "this baby is already about 9 lbs. if you wait until your due date it will probably be 10 - 10 1/2 pounds...I can induce you today at 1:00." So I called Jared, he came home from work and we went to the hospital to have a baby!
Jonah was my shortest labor...only about 4 1/2 hours. He weighed in at 9 lb. 1 oz. and 22 inches long. He was a big boy! We were so excited to have him join our family.
Jonah is one funny kid. He has got a great sense of humor.
Jonah has had to take the back seat a lot in his 9 years. With a sister with diabetes, a brother with epilepsy and a toddler in the house Jonah has to be very patient. We love him so much and are so grateful for all the help he gives us to take care of his siblings.
Jonah is going to be a scientist or an engineer. He is happiest when he is creating something.
