Happy Birthday Annie!!

In following tradition of my fellow bloggers I will tell you some things about my really great sister:

1. She is the BEST big sister EVER!
2. She has always been a great example to me.
3. She is kind to everyone.
4. She does not judge.
5. She is good at everything she does.
6. She is super smart!
7. She is an ornithologist! (How many people can say that?!)
8. She laughs a lot.
9. She is beautiful.
10. She didn't get mad when I got married 2 months after she left on her mission.
11. She was/is a great missionary.
12. She speaks french.
13. She is an accomplished tennis player.
14. She is a great pianist.
15. She has travelled the world studying birds using grant money awarded to her.
16. She loves to read.
17. She used to check out books to the neighborhood kids and had her own "Annie Decimal System"--just kidding, but she did have check out slips!
18. When I went through a phase of wanting to sleep with her--she let me even though she didn't want to.
19. A few years ago she and Travis made nativity puppets for a Christmas Eve puppet show.
20. She's got a great sense of humor.
21. She married Travis! (Not related to above)
22. She loves my kids.
23. They LOVE her!
24. She is an avid cross-country skier.
25. She loves to be outdoors.
26. She has great taste in everything.
27. In Jr. High she would let me borrow her clothes...I know it bugged her.
28. She let me tag along with her and her friends.
29. She has a cat without a tail! (Travis ran over it.)
30. She took back the Hyundai and gave me the Honda (which was a much better car) when I moved to Chicago so I would have a reliable car.
31. She came to visit us twice in Chicago, twice in Los Angeles, and twice in Houston!
32. She moved to Caldwell, Idaho last year--so hopefully we'll get to be closer soon!
33. She is so patient.
34. I can't think of an unkind thing I've ever heard her say.
35. She took good care of me when we were 8 and 5 and our mom was in the hospital for the last 10 weeks of her pregnancy and we stayed at home with my Dad--Karen and Dan went to live with our cousins.
36. She is a great friend.
