Why?

Why is it that Murphy's Law runs rampant though our house? I should not have made the comment yesterday about not having anything to post about.

I made an appointment for Seth to get a Christmas picture taken. Not 30 minutes later...

Yes it's permanent. And the carpet and TV have matching artwork on them. You may be asking yourself a couple of questions. Let me answer them for you:

1. Why did he have access to a sharpie?

I am trying to burn all the movies we have taped on our DVD recorder onto disk's today...the sharpie was ON TOP of the entertainment center BEHIND a picture frame so he could not possibly be aware of it's exsistance. Yes, we believe he was bitten by a radioactive spider at some point in his short 2 years.

2. Why were you not watching him better?

I turned on Dora for him to watch and play in the playroom while I made calls to refill Luke and Rachel's prescriptions to ensure we have enough to get us through the next 2 weeks, AND...I made a phone call to the insulin pump supplier to see if I could stock up on Rachel's pump supplies before year end since we have met our deductible and will start over Jan. 1.

It seemed like wise use of my time, and I had hoped that Seth could control himself for a few minutes while I attended to--what I believe are--some important family matters.

We'll see if we can get off the sharpie with some hairspray and alcohol.

Ugh!

I loved the part about him being bitten by a radioactive spider. That was a nice touch. David took a marker to our (luckily) old piano keys. He tells me it was an accident (on every key, mind you).
