First the surprise of the day...
Rachel got 6th place in the number sense competition!! Jared said there were about 20 kids participating from the district. Way to go Rachel. I had the rules wrong earlier...it is 80 problems but you only get 10 minutes. She finished 14. I don't know how many she got right. It was a good experience for her. I'm hoping it will help her to try new things without the waterworks!
Not so surprising today...BYU beat Utah...Again. Yes, Jared watched the game--TIVO style--and it was almost as fun as the first go 'round. He wouldn't erase it off the machine, but I'm going to have to put my foot down with the 2nd showing. Of course he also enjoys watching the "Classic" games on BYU tv that he missed while he was on his mission.
It's all good. The day is over...I'm going to make my list of what needs to be done in the next 2 weeks. Wish me luck.
