Wednesday

I love Wednesday's...it's half way through the week, it's a no homework day for (most of) the kids, they bring home progress reports which are generally positive...Wednesday's are good to me.



Jonah came home sick on Monday and stayed home Tuesday. After a long drawn out tantrum this morning he got dressed and made it back today. Luke tried his hardest to convince me he needed to stay home, but no such luck!

Sunday we decorated sugar cookies. It was a fun evening. We cut and baked the cookies and then let them cool while we watched the Christmas Devotional on BYU TV. I love BYU TV. It allows us to enjoy such events in the comfort of our own home. Now THAT'S a Christmas treat!



After the devotional we decorated the cookies. I would have liked to given some of them to neighbors, but realized that they were cookies only a mother could love. If someone would've left 'em on my porch I would have been skeptical. Jared, however, would have gobbled up every one! They were quite tasty I must admit, and the kids have loved having them in their lunches.



Seth had his first day of Tuesday "Mother's Day Out". It is all the same kids that go on Thursday, so there was really no question that he'd enjoy himself. It is so nice to have that extra day. I really think I will be able to get myself out of the big hole I seem to be in! I'm starting my New Year's resolutions early this year!! Or late...hmmm...
