To Jared's favorite brother--okay his ONLY brother--Matthew! Happy 40th! Matthew is one of my favorite people. Not only because he has diagnosed every MAJOR medical issue in our family (saved Rachel's life, literally, by encourageing us to get back to the hospital and get her urine tested...My kidney stones October 2004 after I had Seth in July 2004 and thought I was in labor again...and Luke's epilepsy--I have to take credit for recognizing Luke was having some sort of seizures, but Matthew put a name with it and armed me with the information I needed to get the ball rolling much quicker than it would have)--BUT he did all of this over the phone over a thousand miles away! What a guy!
I'll just say ditto to Kristine's list of things that are great about him! We love you Matt! Have a great day!
And another birthday wish to my good friend Nate who is enjoying life with his beautiful wife Claudia (from Italy) and their new baby Sofia Francesca--in Cambridge, England. I will continue to be envious of your adventures! Thanks for being a great friend and for keeping in touch over the years! You, too, are one of my favorite people! (I don't know if Nate actually reads this, but just in case!)
